A beautiful vintage woven demijohn with that classic countryside charm. Wrapped in hand-woven willow, it has the loveliest natural tones, warm, earthy, and full of old soul. The original glass bottle sits inside with its cork still in place, bearing a few small chips around the rim from a lifetime of use, nothing that takes away from its display value.
 
Demijohns like this were once everyday essentials in rural homes, used for storing homemade wine, pálinka, or syrups. The woven casing was there to protect the glass when carried or stored  a simple, thoughtful design that has stood the test of time.
