A striking little retro demijohn wrapped in a bold black-and-white weave , such a fun, graphic piece with a lovely pop of green glass peeking through at the top. The woven casing is beautifully done, tight and sturdy, giving it that structured, almost checkerboard look that makes it stand out from more traditional wicker versions.
These smaller demijohns were once used for homemade wine or syrups, the woven sleeve protecting the glass during storage and transport.
