A wonderfully worn piece of Hungarian farm life, made from hand-shaped terracotta and finished with simple white painted rings. Originally used as a chick feeder and drinker, these pieces sat in village yards and barns, helping tiny chicks find their way to food and water safely through the round openings.
 
What I love most about this one is how beautifully it has aged,  the soft clay tones, the mossy patina, and the perfectly irregular hand-cut holes. It has that true “old soul” charm that only decades of real use can create.
