This elegant antique chair is crafted in the Louis XVI style, dating roughly from the late 19th to early 20th century (c. 1880–1920). It features all the hallmarks of the period:

The seat cane is fully intact, which is rare for a chair of this age, while the back shows a small tear and some areas of broken cane, lovely as it is, or an easy repair for restoration enthusiasts.
The frame carries its original aged gilt finish, showing a wonderfully timeworn patina. There are surface losses, cracks, and wear to the wood and gilding, fully consistent with its age and adding to its authentic antique charm.
