A beautifully worn, early 20th-century Hungarian gyúródeszka (small kneading and dough-shaping board), crafted from a single piece of hardwood with its original hand-carved handle. These compact boards were essential in village kitchens, used daily for shaping dough, slicing noodles (metélt), preparing pastries, or serving freshly made breads.

This piece carries decades of kitchen history in its patina, surface cuts, burnish marks, and an old natural split along one edge that formed slowly over time. All of this is completely stable, authentic, and expected for a genuine working piece.
