Approx. 22 cm tall

A beautiful early 20th-century Hungarian folk pot with a rich, deep brown glaze that has softened and weathered over time, revealing warm terracotta tones beneath. These pots were traditionally used in rural homes for storing kitchen essentials and were made entirely by hand, every uneven brush stroke and glaze drip tells the story of daily village life.

This piece has the most wonderful character: a worn honey-amber rim, patches of exposed clay, and hand-turned ribbing around the shoulders. The glaze has aged into a natural, mottled patina that feels earthy and authentic exactly what makes these pots so sought after.
